VPG and Wuchopperen Health Service have launched a 12-Month Traineeship program providing employment pathways for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people.
The working partnership was established to progress employment opportunities for First Nations youth in the local community.
Leading the recruitment drive, VPG worked closely with applicants who demonstrated skills and strengths matched to the positions available, providing pre-employment support to ensure the young people selected by Wuchopperen were well prepared and ready for work.

VPG will continue to provide postplacement support to the candidates over the coming months to ensure a smooth transition into the Traineeship program.
