VPG is part of MyndKind – a new community-led mental health response across Mareeba–Tablelands, supported by the Northern Queensland Primary Health Network (NQPHN).
This initiative is making it easier for young people to access the right support at the right time.
At VPG, we support young people’s mental health and well-being through connected, personalised care that puts them at the centre.
As the youth-specific partner in the local consortium led by Better Together, we play a key role in shaping a more coordinated and accessible system — one where young people feel safe to seek help and stay supported.
Young people now have a single, trusted contact to guide them through care options and maintain consistent support. This person-centred approach can help prevent delays, confusion, and gaps in care.

- Information and tools to manage mental health
- Ongoing coordination to maintain continuity of care
