ATHERTON: The Digital Parent Toolkit

The Digital Parent Toolkit is a workshop aimed at parents of children in upper primary and early high school. It provides parents with information to help them gain insight into:

  • The online world, including social media, gaming and AI
  • Online content, cyberbullying and online relationships, as well as digital footprints and parental controls
  • How to balance screen time with green time to support children’s mental health

  • Time: 9:30am – 11:00am
  • Location: VPG Atherton, 5 Comet Avenue, Atherton
  • Cost: Free for parents and carers of children in the Atherton Tablelands and Mareeba areas
