MAREEBA: Circle of Security (4 Weeks Abridged)

Circle of Security is a relationship- and connection-focused parenting program based on early childhood research and attachment theory. Parents and carers learn to identify children’s emotional needs and respond in ways that build resilience, reduce behavioural difficulties, improve self-esteem, support school readiness, and strengthen relationships.

This program helps parents and carers:

  • Understand your child’s emotional world and learn to read their needs
  • Support your child’s ability to recognise and manage emotions
  • Enhance the development of your child’s self-esteem
  • Honour your innate wisdom and desire for your child to feel secure
