School-Based VPG Staff
For 20 years, VPG has worked in partnership with Far North Queensland Secondary Schools to support student wellbeing and engagement. Our team of qualified professionals includes Trainers, Social Workers, Youth Mental Health Workers, Positive Parenting Officers, Respectful Relationships Educators, Teachers, Employment Coordinators, and Career Advisors.
VPG provides dedicated Youth Support Coordinators and Student Wellbeing Officers who work directly with students from Prep to Year 12, helping to build resilience, foster positive relationships, and enhance school engagement.
Our Impact In Schools
VPG’s school-based Student Wellbeing Officers and Youth Support Coordinators work directly with students from Prep to Year 12, fostering social and emotional development, building resilience, and promoting positive relationships. Their work plays a crucial role in enhancing student engagement and success at school. Education Queensland partners with VPG to provide these vital services at several schools, including:
- Malanda State High School
- Atherton State High School
- Mareeba State School & Mareeba State High School
- Ravenshoe State School
- Herberton State School
Our staff are based on-site at these schools and actively contribute as part of the school’s student support team.
