VPG & Q.I.T.E creating opportunities in partnership

Youth Transitions I Youth Employment & Training I VPG

Sharing a commitment for connecting jobseekers with local employment opportunities, VPG & Q.I.T.E are working together to inspire and motivate job seekers to consider employment on the Harvest Trail.

Recognising the increasing demand for harvest workers in Far North Queensland, VPG & Q.I.T.E partnered to create a ‘Digital Career Conversation’ to showcase working life on a farm and the employment opportunities available in agriculture.

The ‘Digital Career Conversation’ incorporates varying perspectives – from a young harvest worker, Elijah Lawrence, a farmer with 50+ years industry experience, Maksie Srhoj, and Q.I.T.E representative, Josephine Blain.

Utilising Q.I.T.E’s network and VPG’s resources, the duo combined forces to deliver a ‘Digital Career Conversation’ that will continue to promote and encourage harvest work to a cohort of work ready job seekers in the future.
